Stamford Bridge will be completely filled with Chelsea fans looking to push our women’s team forward to another UEFA Women’s Champions League final. The Blues took a big step towards that objective in the first leg of the semifinal, beating Barcelona 1-0 at their home turf to inflict their first ever loss in five years. However as manager Emma Hayes said right after that match last weekend, that was only half-time. It took us a superb effort and a level of play we haven’t consistently seen throughout the season, to get a positive result in Catalunya. We need to match that intensity and quality if we are to come out today with the final tickets on hand.
